Turkish Flag Law No. 2893 fixes the proportion at 2:3 — the length is always 1.5 times the width — so the standard sizes step up in that ratio: 50x75, 60x90, 70x105, 80x120, 100x150, 120x180, 150x225, 200x300, 300x450, 400x600, 500x750 and 600x900cm, continuing to 7x10.5m and on up to 20x30m. For most offices, balconies and standard flagpoles, 100x150cm (3x5 ft) is the size to order.
The reference shade is Pantone 186 C, a deep crimson red. All of our Turkish flags are printed to that reference with high-definition digital printing — double-sided, vivid and fade-resistant — so the red does not shift towards orange or pink after a season outdoors. Desk and indoor office flags are produced with sublimation printing, which bonds the colour into the satin.
Choose Raschel (110 gsm knitted polyester) for anything that lives outdoors on a pole or a balcony: it is light, breathable, lets wind pass through, and is the economical choice for large sizes. Choose Alpaca, a premium double-weave, when the flag is the centrepiece of an indoor or ceremonial display and hand-feel matters. Indoor pole flags use double-layer satin with a BSN interliner instead, and bunting and hand flags use lightweight 90 g Raschel.
For a floor-standing display next to a desk or on a stage, order the indoor flag: a 100x150cm double-layer satin flag on a 220 cm or 240 cm chrome pole, with velcro attachment included. If the flag is going on a wall or behind a lectern, the pole-less satin flag is the cleaner solution, available fringed or plain.
