About the Design
Animal figures are nothing new in Anatolian weaving: birds, ram’s horns and wolf tracks have been worked into kilims for centuries as signs of abundance and protection. This design carries that habit into a modern grid — the figures sit in squares, each square woven in its own colour. From a distance it reads as patchwork; up close you can pick out the individual cats, birds and owls.

It is woven in Türkiye, in Asya Bayrak’s own facilities. Because we produce directly rather than buying in, quality is checked in house and production details can be adapted to your order.
