A pentagonal pennant is cut so that the lower edge narrows to one central point, giving the panel five sides in total. It sits between our straight cut (flat bottom edge) and our swallowtail (two tails): more movement than the first, more restraint than the second.
Each pennant is supplied with a rigid plastic tube already sewn into the top hem, with end caps and a cord tied to both ends. You hang it from a single hook, nail, bracket or rail — no pole, sleeve or grommet is needed. The tube keeps the flag flat and open, so the design is readable even indoors where there is no wind.
Eight sizes: 50 x 100, 50 x 120, 50 x 150, 75 x 150, 75 x 200, 75 x 300, 100 x 200 and 100x300cm. The 50x100cm and 50x120cm sizes suit offices and stand walls, 75x150cm and 75x200cm are the usual choice for halls and shop fronts, and the 100x200cm and 100x300cm sizes are used for atriums, facades and stage backdrops.
Yes. The satin polyester and the digital print both tolerate outdoor conditions, and the hot-cut edges do not fray. For permanent outdoor installation on an exposed facade we recommend rotating the pennant seasonally, as with any printed satin flag, to keep the colour at its best.
